Supreme is linking up with iconic American artist Robert Longo for a series of skateboard decks dropping next month. If you're not familiar, Longo is a Brooklyn-born painter and sculptor who's been a heavyweight in the contemporary art world since the '80s—his work combines influences from mass media, films, and comics into striking graphite pieces that blur the line between photography and sculpture.
The collaboration features three limited edition decks, and given Longo's aesthetic, these should be pretty striking. He's best known for his "Men in the Cities" series from the 1980s, which depicts suited-up businessmen twisted in dramatic, contorted poses—that intense, emotional quality could translate really well to deck graphics.
